We have more than 250 emails for camp and trail alumni, but over the last couple of years some of you have moved or changed your email accounts. Please send your new email and emails of other alumni to campstephenslumni@gmail.com so that we can update our list as we prepare to mark the 50th anniversary of the Camp Stephens Trail program in 2013.
The same goes if you have an idea for a blog entry or wish to contribute other material like letters, recipes, diary entries, trip maps. . .

Canoe School '95




About a year ago I wrote a story for the blog about Steven Fletcher, the Conservative MP for Charleswood. Click here to read it.


Steven gave me four discs of transferred video tape. I passed them to Scott Place. He edited it and composed and performed the music.

In the past year I've upload 20 videos to YouTube. You can click through them on the Camp Stephens Alumni YouTube Channel.

The most recent one came from England, commenting on the Camp Stephens 1975 video.

  1. Thank you for putting this together. It was both hard & pure joy for me to watch. I forgot how much control Steven had in a canoe. It surprised me every time Steven emptied and entered a canoe on his own (so quickly). Watching those canoes gracefully skim over the water is very tranquil. Again, great job on the editing.
